Drowning

Water is power. It is something that we not only use to quench our thirst, but it is something that can destroy us as well. Water soothes that desperate pain in our throats, as well as causes that desperate pain in our throats. When you fall in but can't rise to the surface. You only sink deeper into a pit of wet darkness. Nobody is there to help, they couldn't hear your desperate screams. Or see your desperate flailing. You were ignored and only felt the desperate want of air. The desperate want of light.
