Polis or poleis is a typical community in the ancient Greek lands. Greeks made the most famous ancient literature like Romans. They started the Olympics and here is it! The comeback of the ancient with a TWIST! Ancient actions but in modern scenes! Be sure to be ready getting laughter and other emotions! But don't worry Romans! You are also make wonderful stories! Because of that, you'll have stories in the pages! GREEK AND ROMANS! The stories are made by me and my brother. It is based on Roman and Greek culture but not copied from the stories. Have you ever had anything strange happen to you that you couldn't explain? One moment you're normal, the next... Well, it happened to me. On my sixteenth birthday, my life changed forever. I learned that day I was different. I have a gift... And I've been hunted by men intending to capture or kill me just because of what I can do. I'm Telekinetic, a mover they call me. I can move objects with just my thoughts. I can do things that most other people only dream about. Except sometimes a dream can start out exciting, and quickly become a nightmare. My name is Kyle... and this is my story. "The Hunted One " is part one of the series. Part two is called "Caitlin's Way". And part three, " Destiny " is also completed. I've also finished writing "The Presence." It's a ghost story with my kind of twist and takes place at the same time as my first two stories and If you're a Hunted One reader, you may find the ending interesting... I also have a story called "Return of the Black Eyed Children " It's based on the legend. (Look it up on Google) My latest is called "Vengeful Spirits." I'm sure the tittle describes what it's about... Please consider all my stories as a first draft. I'll be editing/polishing as time allows. Bride of the Greek Prince
Perdita just wanted a vacation. Three weeks free of a certain annoying coworker constantly one-upping her. No impossible demands by a boss looking for any excuse to fire her. No nagging from her father and step-witch about when she is going to give them grandchildren like her perfect step-sister. Three weeks of relaxation on a Nile River cruise... But misfortune seems to follow Perdita (could it be because she was named after the tragic Shakespearean character?). Before she can settle into her vacation, Perdita falls into an exhibit on the ship, accidentally touching an ancient relic of unknown origin. Perdita finds herself being transported to ancient Egypt where she is being tried as a criminal... Lucky, or unlucky for her, Mycenaean prince Acacius takes in interest in her, calling her "Helen." He decides to bring her back to Mycenae with him to serve him as his wife. Perdita soon finds herself wrapped up in ancient politics, war, magic, and love... She wanted a vacation... not an adventure... *Some liberties have been taken with dates and historic events. Some changes are explained throughout the story and will make sense as you read... others are to make the timeline fit :)*
