Anonide is a popular anon on 'Blogit', giving advice to Crestwood High School pupils who need it - more importantly, being the shoulder to lean on. However, little did the students know that behind the mask were two of their most prestigious athletes.

When the Ridley family first moved to the little community of Crestwood, Missouri, they were prepared to show everyone that they were different from everyone else, and different they were.

As soon as winter rolled around, the freshman twins Ivan and Noelene 'Lena' Ridley became massively known for carrying Crestwood High's female and male soccer team to the national level.

However, aside from becoming soccer prodigies, they've started a side blog titled 'Anonide - Ask away!' on a website called 'Blogit' in which they reach out to those in need of advice, particular those of Crestwood High school.

Fast forward two years to their junior year, where things started to take a turn when a particular best friend of Ivan requests advice from Anonide on relationships, one concerning a certain female Ridley.

"Your hair is full of snow," He chuckled as he looked at her, reaching out to push a strand of hair behind her ear. Some snow successfully fell off her, but he didn't withdraw his hand. He cupped her cheek, wiping away a few snowflakes from it. She was frozen, staring at him like a deer caught in headlights, her heart pounding in her chest. Then, raising his other hand, he cupped her cheeks fully. His eyes began to trace every inch of her face; her eyes, her cheeks, her nose, before his gaze dropped to her lips. Her heart skipped a beat as she tried to keep herself together. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Seventeen-year-old Valentina Barron doesn't have the most ideal home life. Her family has financial problems, her mother is hospitalized, they had to move to a small apartment from their decent-sized family home... You get the point. She thinks life is unfair and horrible. A shy high school senior jock and a closed-off girl battling an immune disorder fake a relationship to win a social media contest. Being shy isn't easy, especially when you're the new kid at school. Scotts Valley's football program is subpar compared to my last school's team, but the starters underestimate my all-conference skills. Girls eye me like fresh meat. Mom's cooking has the fire department on speed dial, and her game cheering makes me want to crawl under the bleachers. In the middle of all this stress, I'm still so tongue-tied that I can't talk to anyone. Scotts Valley High's 'Golden Couple' competition-which I want no part of-grates my nerves. I want to play football and baseball, then continue whatever gets me a college scholarship. Only Paige treats me as a normal person. People at school say she's quiet and closed-off, but she's nice to me. She's hiding her awesome self under baggy clothes and the brightest, pinkest hair I've ever seen. I don't understand why she's picked on, and I don't like it. Her medical bills are mounting, so I'm doing something about it. Paige and I pretend to date to remove ourselves from the rumor mill and win the Golden Couple's cash prize. What I don't expect is to catch feelings for my 'first trust,' the first friend I can open up to and be myself around...my girl Paige.
