Jack is tasked with collecting water for his family who live on an alien planet that humans had to move to as the Earth became over populated. The wealthy stayed on Earth where as the poorer less fortunate part of the population was moved to another planet. This new planet (XC-71) has a micro organism in the air called virus 16 that, if inhaled, takes control of its host making the person extremely hostile and violent. Air domes had to be constructed on the planed to allow humans to civilize the planet and to allow its inhabitants to go about their lives without a mask constantly strapped to their faces. Water is the same on the planet as it is on Earth and the micro organisms cannot survive in water. Also the buckets used to collect water filter out the micro organisms from any air in the buckets.

They were glowing a light sapphire blue color. It was not a bright glow, but it was definitely a glow. Glowing eyes were not normal. Okay, at this point I had to admit it, I was no longer normal.
