"Sometimes you need to sacrifice a heart to move from zero steps." It all started with a game... No, it wasn't just a mere game. It was a battle for survival. It was the Game of Hearts, a battle royal where twelve players must kill the opposing groups as they continue to live on with their daily routine. With the help of three other members, Reverie must win the game and gain her freedom. Little did she know that it was much more than a game about taking lives. --- This is Draft Zero, a draft that will (hopefully) greatly resemble the final version of this story, meaning everything here is most likely to stay in the final version.

[Ninjago x F!Reader] [6k - 20k worded chapters] Your life was as normal as someone could ask for, despite the fact that you could see dead people in your dreams. You always met with them and helped them pass their souls onto the after life, wishing them a happy time. Either that or you sent them to be reincarnated, all depending on what they chose. Your life was as normal as someone could ask for, despite the fact that your childhood best friend was a Ninja. He was always out and about and barely had time to visit you anymore, but he always made sure to send you letters. He always made sure you were safe at night by protecting the city you lived in, even if it meant he had to stay far away from you unwillingly. Your life was as normal as someone could ask for, despite the fact that you had inherited Elemental Powers from someone in your family. Your life was as normal as someone could ask for, despite the fact that your best friends Master had cleverly tricked you into joining his group of Ninja's. Your life was as normal as someone could ask for, despite the fact that your heart twisted and turned every time you met eyes with your new friends. You wish your life was as normal as someone could ask for, as you hated the cold feeling that rushed through you after you realized your doomed fate.
