At age 5, Lydia's mother unexpectedly leaves her daughter in the meadows, never to be seen again. Her mother also leaves Lydia her fairy guardian, Jasper, and the other yet to be realized. With the fairies life source on the line, Lydia must keep the Blue King at bay before he destroys it. Everything is working as it should. That is, until fault leaves all efforts crumbling.
