Hunter has been on her own since the outbreak began. Forced to make difficult decisions, sleep in unbearable places, eat whatever she can find, all the while protecting herself from the walkers. Just when Hunter is about to give up all hope, she is rescued by Daryl, who is still trying to come to terms with the recent death of his big brother. Can Hunter make this new place her home? Or is she too much of a loner to survive in a place like this? Will Daryl finally put down his wall and let someone in? Or will he close her and everyone else off entirely as he suffers with the loss of his big brother?
