Not mature for the younger audiences. -------------------------------- I don't like explaining my books because when I do I tend to write everything that happens, so I am just going to say that I come up with these horribly dark ideas and put them into books, of course these books may be sad, and maybe even a bit sadistic, and in my mind they are badass, but when I write them down I don't feel as if I can show what I am truly imagining. I feel as if they suck, but my best friend tells me that they are amazing and that I better publish them when I finish so I did. Obviously. So eh. Yes, I know I happen to say this in each of my story descriptions but I truly do end up ruining the story if I write about it. There is foul language, sexual content, stupidity, and most likely some grammar errors, so I'm just forewarning anyone that reads it. Lily Porter has two goals the week of vacation: don't burn horribly and don't get into trouble in Mexico. Yet when Lily and her group of drunk friends do get into trouble with powerful people, suddenly the trip turns to one of survival. Alone and scarred for life Lily is on the run from a very dangerous situation and only she knows information everyone involved needs. Ghost and Soap, two operatives of Task Force 141, are focused on obtaining the location of Hassan Zyrani, Iranian who has locations of ballistic missiles and plans to use them. When terrified and hyperventilating Lily enters their dangerous path, the two soldiers take her in not knowing how much their direction will have to change. As Lily grows attached to the only two people who seem on her side, danger grows even closer to her throat. The situation becomes more complicated than any of them ever thought when more evil pieces...and people...come to the surface, and it twists even more when feelings are quick to brew for Lily toward one of the intimidating 141 soldiers. The fanfic takes place two years after the Modern Warfare III campaign. Follow our heroine, Sariah "Castiel" Samuels, as she finds her place in a foreign country and within her team. With all the crazy in the world, and with hope slowly dying, Castiel must rise up with her fellow task force members to defeat the world's greatest threat, Vladimir Makarov. Along the way, she befriends Gaz and Price, and slowly becomes part of the 141 family. Ghost, on the other hand, is not initially pleased with Castiel's arrival. No one can replace Soap, and he is almost offended that this smalltown, stubborn, American southern ex-pilot thinks she can ever try to replace him. However, perhaps there is more to her than meets the eye. Maybe she can finally teach Ghost to trust and care again and heal from past wounds. Trigger Warnings: graphic depictions of blood and violence, acts of terrorism, smoking, alcohol, self-harm and suicide, military inaccuracies, medical inaccuracies adult content, adult jokes, major character deaths, mentions of homophobia, religious themes, religious trauma, and lots of swearing.
