Royal prince Jade is heir to the throne, but things don't get easier when the white dragon Islingr hatches for him. His mother, Nasuada has just been killed through unknown means, yet he has to go for training as a new Rider. The rumours of Ra'zac and other evil creatures roaming the lands make it even harder for Jade to leave. What will he choose to do?

This takes place 30 years after Galbatorix's Death.

Changes:
- Distance between each city and town is increased (Carvahall to Therinsford takes 1 day on foot, now it takes 3-4 days on horseback)
- Each town has know become a city (Carvhall, Ya'zuac, Daret)
- New towns, cities and even countries
- New races are being discovered throughout Alagaesia
- Ra'zac and Lethrblaka now roam the lands, the eggs have hatched
