The war between the Empire, the Revolutionary Army, and Night Raid finally finishes. As Leone treks back to where the others are, she encounters Akame for one last time. As they meet each other's gaze, the affection is there, the love is there, as Leone steels herself for the final goodbye, Akame refuses for them to part ways like this. Overcome with emotion, Leone embraces Akame one more time, Akame is stunned at how cold Leone is, just as she murmurs a final parting, Akame pulls her back to her again and its at that moment everything comes to the surface and the feelings that have been pent up burst open...they make a renewal of their promise and spend a night alone with only the other as company...things are bound to spark and both will be damned if they don't take use of the opportunity.
