My name is April. I have a mental illness. I am also the single mother of two wonderfully bright young ladies. Mckenzi is 15 and also deals with mental illness. Jaynee is 12 and deals with her own self esteem issues. We are a team, the three of us. Three is our lucky number. My girls are three years three months and three weeks apart. My story is about our lives, the things we go through on a daily basis and how our illness contributes to our reactions and the ultimate outcomes. I hope that through sharing our story someone else will benefit from the knowledge that, you are not alone. We all go through similar circumstances. My fifty years of good or bad heartfelt life experiences written in honest, bold and direct expressions.
