There are many reasons why students come to the Temple of the Four Elements: To escape assassins and arranged marriages, to avoid initiation rites, or to look for dragons.
Tandrel? He just wanted to find a way home. That was before he met Hella, with her strange dragonscale suit, the white-haired Bavir and his prophetic dreams and before he had his first taste of the surge: the mystic experience when one channels the four elements through one's body.
In his quest to discover the truth behind the elements, Tandrel and his new friends realize that power and madness are two sides of the same coin and they must find a way to flip it so that they can land on the edge of sanity with their friendship intact.

The Unordinary
Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else.
