Persephone, otherwise known as Sephey, is put into harms way because of the fate she was born with. An old friend of hers, Caerus, returns to help her sort out the complexities of what her future will entail. Although if he wishes to stay in the land of the living the choice isn't fully his. His mission is to keep Sephey alive until she can complete her journey to save the lives of those around her. Sephey on the other-hand struggles to understand why one person, nonetheless an eighteen year old, has to be the one to do this.
