The house was dark, empty and deserted. The dare was a simple one - go into the derelict building and go into the cellar. Simple. It had to be done at night. After all, when else would teenagers dare one another to do such stupid things.

Took the Dare

High school is supposed to be the greatest years of our lives but so far for me it's been the worst my sophomore year I had only 2 best friends one embarrassed me in front of the whole school saying how much of a loser I was. My twin brother ignores me even he thinks I'm a loser and his best friend who I have been in love with for years and who was one person I always knew I could count on stops speaking to me after I declare my love for him and gets with the school bully who's one of the people who make my life hell, after all that I left and moved in with my aunt states away. when my senior year comes around I decide to face my fears and go back to my old high school and show them the new and improved me.Complete

Then suddenly everything went dead silent. The lady vanished. The whispers and the wind stopped. But then Rhea saw light imprints of blood on the glass door under the dusty layer. ************************************ This book basically contains short horror stories of my own imagination. "Dad!" I yell as I walk into the house. I'm greeted by nothing, except silence. My dad is rarely home, I don't know what I am expecting. Ever since my mom died, he's been nothing but distant with me. I mean, he was always distant, even before mom passed, but before, I thought that he just didn't care about me, now... I know he doesn't. ********** "Hello?" I say through the phone, grabbing a cloth, running it through the faucet, and pressing it against my knee. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" I hear a chorus of people yelling through the crackly phone. I start to laugh. ******** My mom had died. My dad is an alcoholic that doesn't care about me. I have three best friends. One new friend (Who's a bartender/stripper/lesbian). A great job as a DJ at this amazing club. And a whole new idea to get away from my dad and stop holding on to the past. ********** "It called and emancipation," she said through the phone, laughing, knowing that I was anxious. The one that makes you feel like you're the only people in the world and like nothing can break you apart..." She laughed "The perfect kiss takes you to infinity AND BEYOND!"
