Prologue: "How much?" "Twenty-two fifty," the shopkeeper told the kid in front of him. The kid handed him the bills and bagged the items. "Hey boy, don't forget your change." Taking the money and mumbling a quick, 'thanks,' the kid left the shop. The shopkeeper was added to the list of people who'd been fooled by the kid's appearance. Always dressed in T-shirts and pants with sports shoes, it was no wonder she was often mistaken for a boy. Her posture, her attire, her love of sports and especially her boy cut convinced people that she could actually be a boy. Being friendly, sarcastic and smart, the tough tomboy was easy to get along with, once you knew her. Nothing could change her mind about being a tomboy. Absolutely nothing... . . . At least, that's what she thought......
