Hindi ako yung tipong lalaking naniniwala sa mga fairytales, ‘cause obviously—they’re just some silly tales for kids. Hindi rin ako naniniwala sa true love, ‘cause it always ends up being broken, at paaasahin ka lang. Trust me, I know. My life back then was very mixed up. Palagi akong nag cu-cutting classes, laging nasa com-shop, di nagstu-study, well—let’s just say hindi ko pinahahalagahan ang pag-aaral ko. But then, on an unexpected day, I met this girl who cares an awful lot about everything. Hindi ko na lang namalayan, unti-unti na akong bumabago. And then I knew... It was love.

My best friend once told me that I saw life as if it were a fairy tale, as if it were a movie. I had blanched at that of course, but it was true. There wasn’t a meaning to every little thing. There wasn’t always a reason why, some people just do things without it meaning anything to them. People aren’t always going to be on your side, and people aren’t always good. So, I was forced to think that maybe I just saw what I wanted to see.
