This is a story of a wandering girl and a boy set in his way. Will they help each other break down their walls of steel, or will the push each other farther away from having a real relationship of any kind?

Alice has never felt safe. Moving from house to house can do that to you. She wanted to stay with a family for more than a couple months for once, so when she gets the opportunity to stay at a castle for the summer to study and advance herself she jumps at the chance. Though the handsome owner of the castle avoids her like the plague, she's happy. But nothing stays good forever. Alice starts noticing all of the whispers and strange looks she gets from the staff, how she feels so drawn to this place. She starts to look and around to uncover her new homes many secrets and what she discovers only leaves more questions than answers.
