Jessie loves her family, her guitar, her lyrics, her band, and most of all her boyfriend, Justin.

Jessie's parents are successful entrepreneurs, but success means that they are rarely home. Jessie has lived alone for about nine months now; she misses her parents and how close they once were.

Jessie's parents did not know about her problem with cutting. A few months into her relationship with Justin, Jessie attempted suicide. While she was recovering in the hospital, her parents found out from Justin's mom. She struggles with her experience and the scars she now yields because of it. Though her parents were concerned for their only child, their work situation did not allow them to go home to help and support their daughter.

Jessie, Justin, Max and Louis are in a band called Revenge for Roses. Jessie is lead singer, lead guitarist, and their manager.

On top of being juniors in high school, Jessie deals with the stress of managing her gigs and living away from her parents.

Justin loves Jessie and would do anything for her. He would not let anything get between them, even world wide fame.

How far can the band go before they crack under the pressure? How far can love take you? How will Jessie's parents react when she's become a worldwide hit in a night with her songwriting? Will Jessie's fame bring her parents home, although she's touring?

Not even when he shouts at her and hits her. Jessie's best friend, Kolleen, can't stand seeing her in that situation. With a bit of convincing - and the worst beating she'd ever received - Jessie agrees to move into an apartment with Kolleen. But not long after, Jessie is scared the worst of her nightmares will soon become a reality. Josh goes missing, and suddenly Jessie would swear she's being followed. One night changes everything, and one person soon changes Jessie's outlook. A responding officer from that fateful night begins to seek her out, at first claiming it's part of his job. What's even more terrifying is that he might be, too. She isn't ready for love. Not yet. The Wild Escape by Lindzaya
8 parts Complete Mature
Katrina Mars has always had a special connection with her older sister, Keeley, who graduated the year Katrina was in eighth grade. That connection was the same kind of love for pop punk/alternative rock music and their desire to be happy helping one another and others. The two had always been best friends as sisters, and they had always been there for each other. Keeley was even the only friend Katrina ever had, even after she went off to college. Ever since Keeley left for college (which is eight hours away from Katrina's home), Katrina has felt lost, confused, lonely, and sad, not knowing what to do at all with no one to turn to. About five months after Keeley left, at a doctor's visit, Katrina discovers that she has been diagnosed with depression. Although this disappoints her, it is not surprising... For the next couple of years, her parents have become worse and worse towards her, mentally abusing her because of the music she likes, the way she dresses, and her normal personality. This worsens her depression, and being ignored and lonely doesn't help. This is all until she meets Sam Browman, a kid in school who is a lot like her: dresses "emo," listens to "emo" bands, sings and plays a lot of instruments, and goes through troubles at home. Who knows what may happen to these kids who connect through both having troubles at home? This story is set in the year 2011, when My Chemical Romance was together (before the breakup and reunion). WARNING: This story contains mentions and depictions of self-harm, abuse, violence, and bullying. If you are sensitive to these topics, I would not recommend this story to you.

For with God nothing shall be impossible. (Luke 1:37) ~~~~~ Jasper is a screwed up kid, yet no one cares enough to find out why. Bruises hide his arms and alcohol stains the walls of his house, but he pushes forward because it's the only thing left for him to do. His days are spent in and out of the school psychologist's office, while his nights are spent in fear of his father. His guitar and the secluded spot by the train tracks where he likes to play are the only saving graces in the hell that is his life. No one disrupted this normal routine until Callie came. Callie is far from screwed up; she doesn't have family issues and doesn't understand the first thing about Jasper's world. Her house is filled with answered prayers and smiles of people who love each other. Her arms are clear and her head is full of optimism that Jasper doesn't buy for a second. She never second guessed her sunny disposition on life until she stumbled upon a boy and his guitar down by the train tracks. Callie and Jasper weren't supposed to cross paths. She wasn't supposed to care and he wasn't supposed to let her get under his skin, but then again opposites weren't supposed to attract either. Callie saw the good in him where most people thought there was none ; she was captivated by Jasper because he made her question everything she knew about the world. She thought it would be easy to teach him that there was still good left in the world, that there was more beyond all the bad he'd become accustomed to. She thought fixing him would be easy, but nothing worthwhile is ever easy and sometimes it takes more than one girl's overly optimistic persistence to pull a person out of the hell they've been living in; sometimes it takes faith and realizing that some things can't be done without it... ~~~~~ -Highest Ranking: #8 in spiritual, 10/25/17 ; #1 in Christianity, 2019 -Wattpad Featured Novel: 10/19/17

21 parts Complete

Meet Rose Williams, your average 14 year old girl. Fighting ghosts or capturing the Box Ghost into the Fenton Thermos was almost a daily schedule for her. Having a half ghost friend was everything but normal, and she admired that thought. She was never one to sit out on the sidelines, or blend in with the crowd. Almost everything about her was perfect, and probably easy to love. One flaw separated her from the rest. She never believed in love, or anything relating to that topic. What happens when Rose's life is suddenly dependent on the slow beep of a heart monitor? Will Rose make it? Or more importantly, will Danny be able to do anything before it's too late? What happens then, if Rose finds out that love was closer to her than she had thought?
