Bound by chains, haunted by a curse, and trapped in a palace of shadows. When a tyrant king claims that she is the reincarnation of his treacherous queen, Elara is torn from her life of anonymity and thrust into a world of power, manipulation, and danger. The king demands her loyalty, but his motives are as dark as the curse that plagues his throne. In the gilded halls of the cursed palace, she discovers secrets that could shatter the fragile line between love and hate. As their deadly game of power escalates, she must decide: Will she destroy the king to save herself, or surrender to the darkness that binds them both? The throne demands blood. The curse demands sacrifice. And her heart may demand something far worse. Trigger Warning: This story contains themes of emotional manipulation, toxic relationships, dark romance dynamics, and morally gray characters. Reader discretion is advised. DISCLAIMER: I know the names change around chapter 15 or so, I don't know what was going on in my head. I'll revise it as soon as possible. Just picture Liora and read Elara instead. I'm really sorry!
