This story and characters are based on my life. Names are not real! 14 year old Kayla Smith suffers from Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety, Social Anxiety, and a developing Eating Disorder. She needs help but is not willing to receive it. When her parents decide to put her in a mental institution, she quickly realizes that recovery may not be as easy as she had hoped it to be.
