It’s the simple concept of boy meets girl. But what if boy meets girl…who was once a boy?

Fifteen-year-old Paula Sinclair is just your typical teenage girl. Or at least, she is now. It's not easy being transgender, but with everyone except her best friend unknown to the truth, Paula is able to live her life as normal as possible. That still doesn't mean she's exactly the most popular girl in school. Upon meeting the gorgeous British new boy, Hal Williamson, Paula finds herself emerging from the shadows on a journey of discovering and receiving love.

But when Paula begins receiving text messages from an unknown number withholding and threatening to reveal her secret, she will learn a new definition of what is considered normal, and is surprised to see who is still there when the world abandons her.
