Destiny can be brutal sometimes. At least, it had always been brutal with him. When finally he got the Love of his life to love him back, Destiny snatched her away from him.
This is the story of a guy who was truly, madly and deeply in love with a girl. A girl who he thought could never return the same feelings for him, their relationship was never meant to be. After all, she was the One True Love of his brother. But finally when she acknowledged the fact that she always loved him, destiny came in and snatched her away, just because she was the doppelganger of Amara. She had to be with his brother, Stefan Salvatore.
So Miss Elena Gilbert got her happy ending with Stefan Salvatore. But what about Damon? This never should have happened to him. After all this, he became a ruthless ripper. His belief that "There is no humanity" yet again came true. And then Jessica walked into his life. Damon could never love her, he was a heartbroken remorseless vampire, who didn't want anybody to fix him. Will Jessica be able to get Damon's faith in humanity back? Can she make him forget everything that happened with Elena? Can she make Damon fall in love with her?
Be a part of their story as Jessica helps Damon put together the broken pieces of his heart and move on with his life.
