Camille's father is going on a business trip to Africa for a eighteen months, leaving her behind. And he doesn't want her to miss her finale year in high school and forfit her chances of getting a scholarship to Harvard University. She has a straight path ahead of her in life, but isn't sure if it's what she wants... or what her dad wants.
Camille has to find a new place to live for a year and a halve because her father doesn't want her living alone. And so, with the renting budget of $1,400 a month, she's determined to find an apartment. Little does she know that she will be taking on the task of Chase Williams, the cocky, arrogant, and 24/7 smug looking bad boy of Brunner High School, and also, her newly found... roommate.

He remembers her just fine from a couple of years ago and all the feelings are back. He knows she doesn't remember him and he'll use this as his leverage to do what he has to do. It's what he promised his father and himself, even if it means he has to pretend to care for her. All he cares is his family business.
