Strangely, the world seemed to be against him dying, because you found time kept repeating itself each time he died. You kept murdering him until a sudden epiphany dawned on you, as if you had broken away from the force controlling you. You were a character in a game-a villain who would always kill the protagonist. However, as if the developers knew you were no longer controllable, they replaced you so the boy you were obsessed with would still die and time would never move forward. Hence, you took it upon yourself to protect him. But why does the protagonist seem to be acting strange?Complete
I Became The Villain's Secretary
After I suddenly died I possessed the body of what I thought was an extra within a novel. From then on my life was mostly calm, though not fulfilling. Until one day I discovered I wasn't just a background figure; instead I was an insignificant character who'd end up being the villainous Grand Duke's secretary, only to die shortly after being near him! But I had no choice, it was too late to change my fate, so I decided to live as obediently as possible under the orders of the sadist villain. But I still had a plan. Even before the female lead makes her appearance, I will try in every way to make the villain a little more normal, or at least ensure that the two do not meet, so that no one will face a harsh death, including me! And then, after the villain doesn't become obsessed with the female lead and becomes more normal, I will be able to resign and live peacefully. So I just cleared all the suspicions he might have about me in order to not incur his wrath and die like in the novel. * * * "I'll give you a choice." The corner of his lips raised crookedly. Though that smile did not reach his eyes at all. "One, don't resign and stay here forever..." His gaze was enough to unnerve me. Imagine, just for a second, let's imagine you end up somehow travelling into your favourite book. Then you started working your magic and you cosy up to the male lead who was supposed to get you killed or you make the demon lord fall in love with you so he can protect you from your imminent death. And woah you got your happy ending. But now let's imagine a completely different scenario where you end up in a book you read like 10 pages of (including the ending). And you find yourself literally dropped into the lap of a psychopathic rival who enjoys just a teeny bit of bloodshed. He's also the guy who killed your favourite character and not to mention you. But then you hold on for a second because you realise you're not dead and he wants to use you as an immortal tool to sharpen his aim. Well that's the story I ended up living in. And I've got one request from Mr. Villain over there, please spare me!Complete
