Ash, Brock and Gary are all childhood friends, from the Kingdom of Kanto, who grew up together in Pallet Town. They all share the same dream to become Musketeers, but they are only poor commoners, with no chance of moving up in the world in Kanto. So they travel to the Kingdom of Kalos, in search of a better life. One day, they are rather miraculously given the chance to live their dream and are assigned as personal bodyguards to the sovereign of the land, Princess Serena. But there is an evil plot brewing in the shadows, that puts Princess Serena in danger. There may also be love in the air along the way, especially for Ash and Princess Serena. But can a princess and a commoner live happily ever after together?
