The bus grinds to a stop beside a sign labelled: WELCOME TO GOTHAM CITY, in peeling black letters. Ethan and I are the first to get off, carrying nothing but a small suitcase and twin backpacks. No one follows us off the bus, a reminder of how horrifying Gotham City must seem to the outside world. The other passengers must think us martyrs or at least suicidal. Storm clouds rumble above our heads and in true "Vega Bad Luck"-as Ethan calls it- the sky opens up to rain. My brother and I are from Florida, we know rain. Hell, we know hurricanes that obliterate whole towns, but there is something about Gotham that sends a shiver down my spine. Maybe its the dark, crime ridden alleyways, the murderers and the villains. Or maybe its the heroes.

After a bad day, she gets herself sent to Arkham Asylum, it probably didn't help that the police found her parent's bodies... still inside the house. She meets a well known villain in a high security cell and manages to land a job with the clown prince of crime. Will she be able to handle Joker's madness, or will she become one of his many victims? I do not own any of the characters who also appear in any DC Comics or movies.

Liam was being hunted by every villain in Gotham. Every criminal was after him and the worst part was his adopted family didn't know about it at all. On the other side of the city was the batcave. No phone. No weapon. No help. Gotham is filled with backstabbers and two faced villains, you can't even call for a taxi without every thug in Gotham knowing about it. With a hefty price on Liam's head and his family thinking he was in Metropolis at a boarding school he had no one to call for and no one to ask about him. That was all, he didn't tell her to get caught up in the insane mess that was Jerome Valeska but sometimes things just don't go to plan... I do not own any DC characters, although I do own Katerina and any other characters I add down the line. Don't judge by the summary I assure you it's better than it looks.
