Samuel "Sam" Steele is only looking to catch a killer, and keep as many innocents alive as he can. Getting an innocent involved was not on the agenda, and definitely not ones whose parents were two of the most famed people in the world.
Cassandra "Cass" Alcott wants revenge for a person who should never have been killed. Cass is Sam's partner in crime when it comes to catching a killer. She has a feeling this will be the year they will catch the killer. Then maybe she could have a normal life like she's always wanted.
