Dave Strider x reader x Karkat Vantas.. Warning: this gets rather violent in some context, blood and gore is fairly frequent. Strong language too, but I don't understand why you need that warning if you got through Homestuck. Dave, Karkat and other Homestuck characters belong to Andrew Hussie. Story belongs to me. John is the new kid, with everything that comes with that title; awkwardness, shyness, and attempts to make friends. Except all of this is made even worse with the fact that he's deaf. Dave is your stereotypical resident coolkid. Except he's not. He's a huge nerd, but most people find him intimidating, what with his shades and the fact that he doesn't talk to anyone. Or rather, that he can't talk to anyone, being mute. The two get paired together and form a close bond quite quickly, to the surprise of most of the school, but to none of their friends'. ((I really suck at descriptions. Also, updates for this aren't set, so be prepared for longish waits between chapters or several at a time.))

Prompt: could you possibly do one where Dirk and Jake break up, and Dirk is heart broken while Dave tries to cheer him up, then some stridercest? My Response: Sorry this took so long. I know this was asked like 2 months ago, but I have a really hard time making my old laptop work and I'm not even posting this off of my regular laptop. So it will take me some time to post things until I get that new laptop most likely at the beginning of next year.

He tries desperately to make it through his first year in a human school, but with everyone still not fully accepting trolls added on with his so-called 'stupid' blood color, he can't find a single person who understands him, yet. Dave Strider. Maybe one of the most popular guys in the school. Nobody knows why he's always wearing those cool ironic shades of his, and most people want to find out. But Dave himself wants his eyes to stay hidden, and nobody else has ever seen them. He thinks that if anyone did, they would make fun of him and his good reputation would immediately disappear. The two, basically opposites, find that they actually might get along and relate to each other. But who knows what a simple sentence could do? (this is my second fanfic and the first homestuck one i've ever written so if the writing sucks don't judge! also none of the art is mine. ships included will most likely be johndave at the beginning, and throughout the fic theres gonna be erisol, rosemary, some jadenep, johndirk, and vrisrezi! if you don't like one or more of these ships deal with it.)
