This is the story of how the five races came to be. Lycans, the Vrakalokas, or vampires, Mages, Fey, and Dhampir.
Nyx, the goddess of the night, finds her souls other half, and in a lustful, steamy whirlwind,falls in love with the fickle Archane, only to be betrayed, just when she's thrown away her defenses.
In a fit of madness, she hungers for revenge... And war.
Zeus, the king of all Gods, was still trying to balance the scales of the world, before it was pitched into chaos. But a perversion of nature causes him to create a monster. The Lycan. Zeus never foresaw the impact of a curse on the most powerful fey bloodline, until the awakening of the First sons of Lycaeon.
Archane, leaving behind a legacy to succeed him, is locked away, never to escape.
Nyx births the child of her unrequited love, and with it, a new race. This one more powerful than all of them. Maybe even as powerful as his own mother.
