Daniel Lich has a problem. He's a man who'd prefer to spend his evenings enjoying good food, old television shows, and the company of his beautiful friend, Anne. Not stalking the darkest corners of the city, hunting for inhuman criminals. It's just his rotten luck that he's not only a vampire, he's the local Night Lord. Now, Daniel has been tasked with capturing a gruesome murderer who's been making a big red splash around town. A war is threatening to erupt if he can't get the job done. More importantly, If Daniel can't deliver the killer's head, his master will take HIS. Living ain't easy, but dying (again) would suck.

The walls between heaven, hell, and earth no longer exist. There are no more rules, and humans are becoming extinct. Only the strong and the clever will survive. The fate of the world rests on their shoulders. Jacob is missing after sending off his last true tie to earth; into the hands of the devil. Lucifer is fighting for control over a land he despises. The crew is hiding out in faery just trying to survive. Can Jacob save the day? Does he even want to? In this last installment of Jacob's broken mercenaries. All the answers will come to fruition. In a world where you're either the hero or the villain. Lucifer lies heavily in the latter category, but to Tally (behind his wall of indifference), he's just normal. Maybe a little selfish. She desires him and understands him like no other. Does that make her evil, too? How will this story end? There's so many questions, and only two possible outcomes are definite. The end or a new beginning.
