This is a story of a depressed transgender girl named Jenean who struggles with her identity and being accepted. She is a devout self harmer in cutting and starving herself. Born into a religious home, she cannot express herself. This story delves into the deep emotional struggles she faces internally and externally. Faced with the decision of acceptance or rejection, Jenean must make the toughest choice of her life. How far will she be willing to go to be herself? Will she go too far? Will it cost her life?

The cut releases my emotions and I breathe a sigh of relief. Just. One. More I tell myself. I spend the rest of the night cutting away at my skin, hoping for some relief.
