(n) a homesickness for a home you can't return to, or that never was.

Alice Taylor had everything figured out, her entire future planned out. She was going to go to Julliard with Adam, her boyfriend of four years, and pursue her dream in ballet. That is, until tragedy struck. A terrible death that spiraled her life out of control. She was no longer the girl she used to be. Lost and confused, she had no idea what to do anymore.

Enter Alec Carter, the annoying "bad boy" that works in the coffee shop. He takes a sudden interest in Alice, who wants nothing to do with him. The more he tries to get to know her, the more she pushes him away. No matter what, he just doesn't seem to give up. He will do anything he can to help her go back to the girl she was before.
