I leave the classroom when all kids have gone to empty the water jug. "Hey, stranger." An all too familiar voice greets me from behind. I turn around, and behind me is Lillian. She stands an inch or two shorter than me in an elegant, pink, of course, half-sleeve, knee-length dress and black Jordan's. "Nice shoes," I reply. "I would say it back, but you wear the same shoes and the same typical shirt and black leggings," Lillian says honestly, walking with me back to the toddler room.
