Here is a short story eye wrote for the BLOOD MOON RISING anthology, available as a free download on Smashwords, which coincided with the month long event by the same name, on FB this October 2015. The places are real. The people are real (with names slightly altered, of korpse). Only the story is fiction... Or is it? hehe. Rejecting the Alpha
I glared up at him my eyes narrowed, "Excuse me?" I was beyond livid by the words that just came out of his mouth. I run through the forest as fast as I can, looking up at the large moon clearly visible in the sky. I feel the wolf within me. For once, I look forward to being a werewolf. Maybe it won't be so bad after all; I'll be able to run through the forest with my pack. ___________________________ I went out into the forest like I always did when dusk began to fall. Especially when it was a full moon, for some reason, I loved the moon, something I've always felt since I was little.
