Opal isn't a normal girl, she is smart, logical and talented but most of all she is gifted, she has an amazing power but somewhere in this story that is normal, but even there she turns out to be truly special and unlike so many!
When Opal finds out there is more to life than being a lab rat, she attempts to runaway and find out what it's like to be a normal girl, only problem is she falls into a an unknown world along the way and I mean literally falls! 
Here she has to help her people fight a powerful enemy but before she can do that she has to convince them she isn't a traitor, but luckily someone believes her right away that she is a good person.

Now you live in districts to survive, but what's the good in just being a number. Why would you look forward to a future of infant nothing, can you run from that? Where would you go? I don't name them, but one of the character will be struggling a lot. It may not be suitable for everybody. Other adult matters are briefly included, but nothing explicit or intense. Rewriting specifications : the main points of the story and end of the book will remain the same, am just going to change a few ways of getting there and adding some extra spice.
