The Cursed City of Athens

The Ancient Greeks during the eighth century B.C. worshipped the same Gods and shared many customs. At the midst of that century, a direful tradition ascended. The gates of Tartarus was unknowingly opened, giving the demons an opportunity to escape and cause havoc to the mortal world.

Greece was divided into three city-states; Corinth, Thebes, and Athens. Lucky for the first two city-states, Athens was the only one targeted by the escapees. In terror, the towns leader made a dreadful deal with the demons; that every year, the town would present ten women from ages 18-21 for the demons to choose in exchange for the safety of the city. A sinister deal maybe, but the citizens have no other choice but to comply.

This is where Aphrodite takes parts, a beautiful maiden full of hope and joy whose 18th birthday is fast approaching. Fear, excitement, hope... Aphrodite can only pray to the Gods for a miracle to happen.
