After the Great War, the Vampire Kingdom retreated into obscurity. It had taken a toll on the other supernatural races, most of which vanished into extinction, leaving Werewolves as the sole rulers. Four thousand years of peace is suddenly shattered as the Vampire King returns with an even greater army, sending the fractured Werewolf Order into panic. With no heir to the throne, the Alphas are rushed to compete in a series of trials to determine the new king. Only he can unite the packs and give them a chance to survive the new threat. But what happens when the children of the Star Crest Pack Alpha are both female? The oldest daughter is sent to the trials to represent her father and pack. If she is deemed worthy, how will she handle pack politics while they are at war? How can she prove herself in the male-dominated hierarchy? They will discover their world was not all they thought it to be, and secrets will come to light that may change the tide of battle. The question is: who will survive and who will be lost?

After being rejected by her husband and Alpha in front of half the werewolf world, Allison does the only thing left that makes sense- she walks away. Heartbroken but unbowed, she rebuilds from the ground up, turning her experience as a Luna into something new: Luna's Compass, a consultancy that fixes the messes other packs are too proud to admit they made. No attachments. No politics. No pity. But fate has a sense of humor. Her newest client, Gordon Hale, is a widowed Alpha raising three daughters and holding his pack together by sheer will. What starts as a six-month contract becomes something far more complicated- professionally, politically, and painfully personal. Between grief, politics, and the slow burn of something she swore she'd never feel again, Allison must learn that fate isn't about who you're tied to - It's about who you become when the bond breaks.
