Blaise Logan has fire dancing in the fury of his eyes, the cigarette on his lips, and the rifle in his hands. In the midst of World War II, he is a sergeant of the 4th Infantry Division. He's known worldwide--even by the Germans--as the Pyromaniac. - Although the Allies are rapidly approaching victory, for Sergeant Logan, it hardly seems like anything but crippling defeat. He lost everything he ever cared about to the war, and now he refuses to care for anything at all. Even when his skin burns at the sight of a handsome--yet untouchable--private.

BOOK ONE OF THE "BROKEN" SERIES "He looked like Heaven. She felt like Fire." Blaise Nightshade. A small, feisty, and vulgar high schooler with a rocky past and no future. She hides behind her snarky attitude and sexual innuendos to hide from the fact that she's broken, and it's been that way since she was thirteen. Saint Donovan. A nerdy, shy, and adorable Australian who just so happens to be new to Blaise's school. With some secrets of his own and an interest in Blaise, the two become an oddly perfect pair. As the two grow closer, so does the feeling that some things are about to change. And Blaise has a feeling that they'll change for the worst. ~~~ "There'll be a lot more where that came from. I just need you to go and sit down, okay babygirl?" He mumbles huskily. Blaise, still stuck in a trance, slowly nods her head with a dazed look in her eyes. "O-okay." He squeezes her hip. "No more outbursts?" Blaise plays with her fingers and nods shyly. "Words, baby." She blinks up at him with wide eyes. "Okay, Saint. N-no more outbursts." He kisses her forehead. "That's my girl." 6/18/20 - 7/20/22
