My last time with her. The last words we spoke. I stood over her lifeless body, picturing nothing but the hospital bed, empty. The last breath of hers felt like the last of mine.

A Girl Like Grace
I laid there helpless... Just like that my mouth opened and I started sobbing, as the paramedics dragged my mother out. She wasn't moving whatsoever, but her eyes were wide open. She laid there a few feet away from me and I swear to god I could still see the fear lingering in her eyes. It was only a few moments that the paramedics put a long white sheet over her face and body, and that's when I realized she was dead...Concluida
