The main character Stephanie goes through many obstacles on her way to 12th grade. She encounters many friends including her soon to be best friend, Isabella. Stephanie is just starting at this school and seems to be going good till she meets Ace... When Stephanie moved there she always had a secret place in the woods that was her secret getaway (a.k.a the old amusement park) Stephanie and her friend both know about this but never tells anyone except Ace. I would tell you more but than this wouldn't be as fun.

For multiple months, the main character has been hiding themselves from this boy, Tal, because they've been scared of what Tal may think of them. After a while of waiting and hiding, Tal finally notices the main character and automatically falls in love with them; they had love at first sight. Slowly this major change affected the main character, their everyday life, and experiences they haven't had before. Their friends leave them and the main character is left with Tal and a few of his friends.
