Asa Bishop was a normal 16 year old teen. He was an only child and lived with his mom and dad. His best friend, Derek, was always by his side even when the bullies were attacking him. Despite this, he was Happy. Until one night in November. He and his parents were on their way home from dinner when a drunk driver drove them off the road. It was a head on collision. He was the only survivor. But not without consequences. Due to the impact with the glass of the window, he was left color blind. He's now alone in his black and white world, no parents and no home. No will to live. *** Callahan King volunteered at the nearby Lourdes hospital every weekend to escape his drunk of a mother. He loved helping people, he loved making them laugh despite the illness and problems they have. He was truly Happy. Then, one night in November, a boy around his age was brought in. He had a large gash on the side of his head and many pieces of broken glass imbedded in his skin. The doctors almost lost him multiple times before they healed him and placed him into a medically induced coma. When he woke up, the doctors figured out he was color blind. The boy was orphaned and homeless. Can Callahan make him Happy again?

It wasn't normal to find yourself weirdly interested in someone for no reason. Not someone you'd only been talking to for a month. And definitely not in the way Aiden was watching Matias like he was studying for a test on his face structure. He wasn't a fucking artist. What was he even doing? Did friends stare like that? ...Were they even friends? "You're a shitty liar," Matias said eventually, his tone casual but definitely laced with amusement. Aiden rolled his eyes so hard he might've sprained something. "Fuck you." "Jeez, Aiden, buy me dinner first."
