The world is in tatters from the Great Nuke War, humanity has retreated to seven cities that float above the dangerous atmosphere below. But something has changed in humanity. Certain people now posses genetic traits that can result in mutations allowing them to have power. As part of a government program Lightning Storm was created in the lab, nurtured by chemicals, pain and a hard government regimented system designed to create the ultimate weapon. She was genetically modified to have wings, and be a biological weapon to keep peace. But she has long escaped the holding facility where the 13 mutants grew up together, and now lives a dangerous life as an assassin hiding from government detection, slowly picking off high government officials as a day job, while secretly leading and protecting the now flourishing rebellion that will one day strike back. That is it was secret until the government discovered the 7th city base. Now Lightning and the rebels must struggle to finalize preparations within the two month deadline. And as if additional stress was required, Lightning's dark secret is discovered in a hunt for the 13th mutant. Will they be ready to battle the tyrannic government?

Celeste almost fainted from seeing them; she was face to face with characters from her favorite anime! Ciel Phantomhive offered Celeste room and board at his manor, as long as she worked for him as a maid. Knowing she needed a place to stay until she could find a way back home, Celeste accepted the offer. Taking up residence with Ciel at the Phantomhive manor, Celeste began her journey. The Butler and Ciel are confused by her strange behavior and way of speaking and even more confused by her lack of willingness to talk about herself to them. The Butler is interested and the earl is suspicious. Just who is this strange girl that they've brought into their home? And what is she hiding? * I own nothing but the OC's and plot. But in this underlying world of Adepts, Demons and secrets within secrets, unlocking their potential will be harder than you think. ~^~^~^~^~^ So, this is my 2014 Nanowrimo story, which is basically an attempt to rewrite Phoenix, where it shall go through major changes in plot, characters as well as effects of my new-and-improved writing style. (This novel is under revision as of 2-5-19 up until I feel the true motivation to scrub through most of my older work. Also this summary is something to be fixed but until then) A thousand years ago the extermination of Earth from unknown circumstances brought about the end of humanity for the planet. The end of animals, most of nature, technology and everything that advanced in between. After Earth's destruction a new life began with the survivors of the near extinction of humanity. They constructed a singular civilization encased in a wall for protection from outside forces, built on the hope to reproduce and thrive with the life they were forced into. Zykard would be the start of a second life for humans But within that time of rebirth some of the survivors surged with horrors of Pre-Reearth. Heresy, treachery, riots, thefts, murders and revolutions. A need to for order was introduced, and brought about the leader of Zykard and seven factions of ten people. A thousand years later theres a change. An outsider appears and seemingly becomes the new leader of Zykard, bringing more hardships with their hopes. Crimson, a seventeen year old girl faces the verge of adulthood. The final trials being the only gap between her new reality. A new injection to be given to everyone after the trials. She will face the ugly second face of what Zykard really is behind the curtains. Face pain she never thought would be possible and lose what she loves the most. She will understand what it's like to become apart of the Zykard.

They get scared when their loved ones are involved in trouble that can lead to death. They could turn into demons anytime they want. Their fur is as soft as cotton. They transform into wolves. Their golden eyes glimmer when they see their prey. They will savor it until nothing is left. Werewolves are indeed beautiful with a beast's heart when it comes to their target.
