scout vega has never relied in anyone in life other then herself.. well and her grandmother but considering how mipsy is 94 and only kniw whats going on around her or who she is half the time...thats not really saying much. 

she never knew her father and her mother was never the tyoe tobreally embrace that title. 

by her 16th birthday she had had enough. enough of the drinking and drugs enough of the calls for the local pub owner to come drag her mother off the floor one more time...and definitly enough of her moms many creepy boyfriends. 

she left. now age 19 she doesnt have much to her name orher then a old broken down stashon wagon she sleeps in and a small bag of clothes and books. 
she works were she can only makeing enough to move on to the next place. 

she never though a stopping to freshen up at a Hwy reststo0 woyld turn her world over.....
she didnt see him comeing and he didnt know what hit him when he saw her...


its some what cleche... and some not. you'll just have to see how this all turns out.
