Erin Smith is an ex soldier turned con artist. She is doing well in life until her past comes back to haunt her, in her dreams and in real life. She has a strong, put-together front, but inside she battles with the guilt of her actions in war. Without any family to support her she turns to an adventerous life of crime and meets a handsome, dangerous con artist.

Jake Hamilton has spent most of his life doing bad things to bad people. His conscience is clear...mostly. Then he meets a beautiful ex soldier who suffers from post traumatic stress disorder and has the worst temper he's ever seen. She's eager to start a life of crime just to keep her mind off what she has done. Jake wants to make her feel better and succeeds. Until someone from her past brings it all back again. Jake's lies come back and Erin struggles to trust again.
