Hunters of the dark (Nanowrimo 2013)

Apocalypse happened on Earth, only not in a way anyone would've thought: Vampires, zombies, witches, ovnis and everything we thought only existed in our most twisted dreams, they are all actually true, and they're all trying to take over the world. Luckily for us humans, there's still one place to live: The Fortress. A resistance formed by an alliance of humans and non-humans has been created, and it's fighting back: this is where Julie Hamilton appears. Raised as a hunter, she only focuses on her job from a really young age; that is until one of her missions goes terribly wrong and she goes through an experience that will completely change her way of seeing things. Now, the problem is: what really happened and why are the non-humans chasing after her? Julie had gone missing for 6 months straight, and when she comes back she has been completely changed, but no one seems to know why... Except for a vampire called William. Will the others find out what really happened before it's too late? Why do they call her "the key"?
