Emmaline has been on the run all her life not knowing why. With her sister Esme and her mom Heather she has been going city to city country to country. Her brother Evan turned Eighteen last year and ran away. He never returned. She never knew why she was on the run until now.

"I'm running away, Jax! I can't deal with her anymore! I've been beaten and bruised for THIRTEEN F-ING YEARS! I'm done with that arse," I said as I packed my backpack, "And you've known about this since seventh grade and didn't tell me!"
