-in which a boy tries to save a broken girl.

My clothes, mere threads of what it once was, but there I stood, unmoved and unfazed by his unwanted advances.

Then these ocean blues paused and spoke,

"Why aren't you fighting against?"

My mind drifted backwards to the one who possess similar blues but his held more fire, one unacceptable because of what he is to me.

But he didn't care and that didn't stopped him.

"Why should I fight for the first that holds no meaning?"

That's when a shout was heard, then the slapping of fast footfalls against the concreted floor. I whispered to these now scared blues, who tried to break a broken girl,

This is the story of an abused teenage girl, Maddie. Her need to die has become overwhelming and she is trying to find a way to help herself before she does something she may regret. The story is told from her point of view as she recalls all that has happened to her. Maybe telling her story will help her, maybe not. This isn't just any other sob story. This is more realistic. You may even find yourself comparing your life to Maddie's while reading this story. Disclosure: I wrote this as a 13-year-old and the writing is definitely not up to my current standards, but I feel as though changing what I have already written would take away from the emotion I put into this story at 13 years old. He was reserved with his words while she was expressive. He was a mature person while she was a little kid to him. She was ready to fight the world but he was confused.
