Finn seems to be a normal guy. Maybe a little bit nerdy but not the kind of guy who has trouble with the police. Everybody thinks this about him till everything changes and Finn realizes that he has a huge problem. The problem won't go away and it does not help that some people can't leave a lost battlefield and keep moving him into more trouble.

My first book ever! English is not my first language so there will be a few (Let's be honest a million) mistakes in this book. I hope you can ignore the mistakes and enjoy the story. I would love some feedback so please leave a comment.

Finn has been the man of the house since he was a child. Simply surviving, he doesn't want any more responsibility than he's already burdened with at 18 - until he helps a mysterious abused girl he met near his new workplace. His caring and protective nature quickly brings her into his life but their budding relationship falls apart just as fast, until an incident and the subsequent events make them slowly come back together. Later, when Finn loses the only other thing he cares about in life he's faced with the choice of driving her away or being vulnerable enough to depend on her. Maybe she can finally make him feel taken care of back; the one thing that he's always truly needed. A more mature and healthy rewrite of a book I started writing when I was 14, inspired by the trashy, dramatic, emo love stories I was obsessed with on this platform a decade ago. I was dealing with a lot at the time so I came up with this book idea, where both main characters have dramatized aspects of myself in them, as a way to make myself feel lovable, so writing this now is a nostalgic and creative way of looking back, processing, and letting go of the emotions I was going through as an adolescent. I hope you enjoy! My back was pressed against the wall, and our faces were merely inches away. He gently placed a finger below my chin and tilted my face upward. I tried my best to avoid his gaze. "Look at me, Sebastian." I slowly met his piercing brown eyes, and my throat went dry. He leaned in, and I shut my eyes as my heartbeat grew erratic. I could feel his hot breathing near my ear. "Do I make you nervous?" I gulped. He gently caressed my jaw. "Why have you been avoiding me, darling?" I couldn't hold it in anymore. My chest was about to burst. It was all too much for me. I opened my eyes and yelled it out. "Because I'm in fucking love with you, Finn." The moment those words left my mouth I regretted it. I covered my face with my hands, completely mortified. I was close to tears and did not want him to see me this way. I could feel him gently pry my hands away, but I kept my eyes shut, too embarassed to face him. I drew in a sharp breath when he placed his forehead on mine, my hands locked tightly in his iron grip. "God, Sebastian. You have no idea how long I've waited to hear those words." And right then, his lips crashed onto mine, and nothing else mattered. -----------------
