The girl smiled at her, not knowing who she was. "You look like a princess. You have nice hair and blue eyes that look like a dragon gave them to you." Princess Zahra gave a shaky laugh, wondering if the girl knew she had the same, glowing eyes as herself. "Well, I think you look like a princess too." She shook her head. "I don't want to be a princess. I want to be a warrior." --- Like any world, Rova is plagued with issues such as social disbalances, gender inequality and pirates. It is also included in a 20 year war. Zahra, the princess of Rova, is unaware of these problems because of her sheltered lifestyle within the palace walls. Her only worries are the temper of her little sister, Jaylyn, and the fear of disappointing her parents, the King and Queen. However, her views are tampered with as she is kidnapped and pulled into the lifestyle of pirates where she is exposed to the class discriminations, the poverty, magic and the raw power that people, especially women, can have when driven and determined. These new experiences also slap her into the reality that decisions have an impact and that she needs to learn to make them wisely. *** Also, please feel free to give constructive feedback and point out spelling or grammar mistakes.
