Christina has been kidnapped by a group of trained serial killers. One of the members, Josh, realizes the sickness of how these men torture their victims so he tries to leave. But they can control him with a device they put in his brain. Can he save Christina's life as well as his or will his actions be in vain? "So i never actually caught your name... um.. I'm Josh" She smiles. "I'm Christina" She hands me some flowers and points to her back. I take the flowers and start washing her back. I see scars running up and down her spine. Some of the scratches even look kind of new. "Did... Did we do this to you...?" She looks and me and nods and sniffles.. God I feel horrible... I put my arms around her carefully as to not hurt her and i just hugged her.. That's it, i just sat there and hugged her hoping she wouldn't make me stop and to my surprise she didn't. Completed!! -- I could hear him running behind me. "HELP!" I started to scream the words repeatedly. I felt like I was the stupid, helpless girl in a horror film. As I leave, the cold British wind greets me. I zip up my sweater, and start walking home. Thanks to my parents, I don't have a car. "You're too irresponsible for a car, Courtney. You can always save up for one once you leave this house," my father had scoffed when I asked him. I walk at a fast pace, hoping to avoid any random strangers lurking in the dark streets. It's either that or dump the body's near water to wash it of evidence. But one snow covered night, when he travels down to the frozen lake to slide a body under the ice, he finds another body. In one piece and without a pulse. While still riding his high, he takes the frozen body back to his cutting room. After all, who would waste a good body? This story is about Stockholm Syndrome and how it can develop in people kept in captivity.
